Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Limerence, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, self-hosted users, and enterprise customers.

Description of Service

Limerence is a text-to-sql platform that enables natural language queries against databases. The software is designed to be self-hosted on your own infrastructure.

We provide the software, documentation, and support. You are responsible for your own infrastructure, data, and compliance.

Use of Service

You agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Not use the service to harm others or their data
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

User Responsibilities

As a self-hosted solution, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your deployment
  • Backing up your data
  • Ensuring compliance with your industry regulations
  • Managing access controls and user permissions

Intellectual Property

The Limerence software, documentation, and branding are owned by January Labs. The self-hosted license grants you the right to use the software, not ownership of it.

Your data remains yours. We make no claim to any data processed by your self-hosted instance.

Limitation of Liability

Limerence is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our software, including but not limited to:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Service interruptions
  • Inaccurate query results
  • Security breaches on your infrastructure

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email or through the product.
